2020 Basement redo

So I had a head full of ideas for a basement redo. With so much space in the basement why not make the most of it? The kiddos are older now and don’t come around as much so let’s entice them with a cool place to hang out.....1st grand baby for Mike was here and we spend a lot of time with her since he watches her while his daughter works. But we also want the kiddos to visit!!! I knew I would be working from home one or two days a week by the middle or end of summer 🤗🤗🤗 got the boyfriends approval and we had a bit so was worked on the details in my head. 

So my phase 1 plan for the basement 

1. Office for two - Mike has a desk but it’s against a concrete wall 😕 so an office would be nice

2. A bar with a mini fridge and little entry into the basement

3. Paisley and under stair play area

Here is the before of the office area which is to the right when you walk into the basement area

This is the before of where you walk into the basement and I imagined an entry area and bar...wanted to disguise that pole too.

And this my friends will be where I build Paisleys playhouse....

It’s been awhile

And I have totally missed blogging....I have also been very busy and recently completed working on some projects that I want to share 🤗 such asssssss......an office for two, a bar and an under stair play area 😍😍😍 those have all been completed and I am beginning work on an electric fireplace built in!!!!

Sweet Sweet Simplicity

Dresser to be re-purposed....

So one of my most favorite things to do is 

take discarded or unwanted pieces and

re-purpose them and make the beauuuutiful again

Soooo when my son texted me a picture of this piece

and asked if I wanted it

 I said HECK YEAHHHH

HERE IS THE BEFORE....

AND I IMMEDIATELY HAD AN IDEA OF WHAT

I WANT TO DO WITH THIS PIECE

Gorgeous French Country Inspired desk and chair

This beauty has been completed and added to the

marketplace....

Gorgeous black desk and chair set would be perfect as a makeup vanity or desk and chair as well....all drawers work a couple stick a little bit but it's because its painted furniture... desk and chair painted black and gently distressed to give it the French country look. And chair has been recovered

Sooooo I received a crazy request for a custom order from a prior customer

READY FOR THIS.....

She wanted me to do a custom paint job 

on her favorite cowboy boots

(Which made me a nervous wreck...They are her fav's...what if I mess up)

She left everything up to me

colors and all except

she wanted one to say Rebel child and the other to say Mama Tried

AND

Checker board toes

I LOVEEEE THEM AND SO DID SHE :-)
