OMG...check out this painted plywood floor

Carrie at Lovely Etc
was tired of her nasty, stained carpet but didn't have the money for the
hardwood floors she was dreaming of.  So I decided I was going to paint the plywood
sub floor in my living and dining rooms.

  1. If you continue to sand it, you'll have a wavy dip in the floor. Chances are that if you bleach the wood, it won't bleach out to the point where you can re-stain and match the remaining floor. Controlling the bleach process isn't too difficult, but it's hard to forecast how much the wood will lighten up.
