Finally purchased material for my dining room project I am working on

(and as you probably guessed it was neither of the fabrics in prior post)

I am soooo 

picky and I want it to be perfect

So the set will be antique black

with the top hopefully being stained

Super excited to get this thing 

finished and see it.

First things first I have to finish up a friends 

end table and then full speed ahead....

I haven't decided if I will be painting the entire piece or staining the top of the table and painting the rest...Hmmmm

This isn't the style of table but possibly the colors I thinking of using

I have been totally neglecting 

Sweet Sweet Simplicity :(

Which is sad and seeing the number of viewers that

 I still have when I'm not posting makes me feel like a 

HUGE SLACKER.....Nahhh not really 

I have been busy.....

So I have some awesome ideas 
and plan on kicking it into 

HIGH GEAR

this summer!!!!!

I did receive and email from an old customer requesting a 

reclaimed lumber headboard and I am seriously 

thinking about doing it....why you ask?!?!

BECAUSE I LOVE WORKING WITH 

RECLAIMED LUMBER :) 
AND POWER TOOLS.....

IT MAKES ME A 

HAPPY GIRL!!!!!!


I have made contact with my connection and its all good to go when I decide!!!

Desk Finally Finished :)

JUST ADDED TO THE MARKET PLACE

 

THIS ADORABLE DESK

Update on adorable desk.....

Here is the before...

(its painted a yucky brown)

Measurements 

40 wide x 30 1/2 tall x 17 3/4 deep

I am making progress 

(I promise)

and 

it looks adorable so far

Entire desk has been sanded

Drawers have been lined with a 

black and white print paper

Outside of the drawer sides and the

inside of the side of the drawers 

have been painted hot pink

The actual desk needs to be painted

and the handles need to be sprayed....

SOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!

SHOULD BE COMPLETED THIS WEEKEND!!!!
